What is needed, is needed.
Being that I am in the business of sport supplements and am in school for holistic nutrition, I have a great understanding of the consequences of overstimulating your body using.... well, stimulants (caffeine-based supplements).
For several months, I opted in taking caffeine-based products to give me energy to get through my days (yes, I know better).
But no more.
I told a client the other day that if he started a detox that I would complete one with him. So yesterday we started our 21-day cleanse and....
...Ohhhhh the caffeine withdrawal! EFF ME!!!!
Besides being tired, a clear indication of adrenal fatigue, and having a headache (headaches are pretty uncommon for me, so this royally sucks), I am drinking the most GOD-awful tea in the morning. *simulates puking*
But, as I said, what is needed, is needed... and a 21-day reset, in the grand scheme of things, is nothing.
So, hello day 2!
